History

Gotha began as the result of research into indigenous South African remedies.  Dr Henry Davis, a medical doctor and biochemist, spent many years amassing knowledge about local medicine and testing the claims in laboratory conditions.  The results were surprising.  He found that many of the plant extracts did indeed contain compounds which provided relief for a variety of ailments.

During his research, he was also testing a number of vitamin and mineral supplements and their effects on health.  Studies into the beneficial effects of substances such as Magnesium and L-Carnitine are now widely known and respected in medical circles.

Dr Davis then set about finding a partner who would help him to combine these ingredients into readily available products which could be sold in pharmacies and health shops.

Production Facilities

In Gotha’s laboratory and factory, active ingredients are extracted and combined with modern compounds to produce a unique range of creams, sprays and supplements which form the basis of Gotha’s product range.

Sustainability

Having identified locally grown ingredients, Gotha has not attempted to synthesise artificial chemicals to replicate the effects.  We continue to use the ingredients in their natural state, providing an industry for the local people and maintaining the product quality.

100% natural, 100% effective.
