Testimonial EP Rugby Team                                                         

Products used: Miracle Green Ointment and Aloe Spray

As the physiotherapist for the EP senior rugby team, I was first introduced to the product while
assisting at the medical tent at the Nedbank SA marathon championship held in Port Elizabeth. I made immediate inquiries about the product for use by the EP rugby team as its effect was obvious on the marathon runners we treated.

One of the reasons for the EP team’s poor run of results in previous years was that they played with injured players or had to resort to makeshift teams when players took too long to recover from injuries. In consultation with our management team we decided to embark on a trial of massage to improve recovery periods. Various research papers have proven the beneficial effect of regular massaging and early treatment.

Gotha Health Products supplied each player with their Gotha Spray and Miracle Green Ointment. Players were advised to use the products regularly at home on injuries and to avoid other anti-inflammatory drugs for the duration of the season, players were also told to report for at least one massage per week at the medical rooms.

It is now history that EP beat Natal Wildebeest 45 –0 this season and at the end of our last Vodacom cup game the only injured players were the one’s that joined the team late and that of the last game. EP coach Oersond Gorgonzola, who coached the SA u-19 side that won the world cup a few years ago, and Basil De Doncker SA and Blue Bulls u-19 player reported to me that they used the Gotha Spray on their sore throats and recovered very quickly.
From a practical perspective the Gotha Spray has made my ‘on field life’ easier as now instead of carrying a bottle of antiseptic, anti-inflammatory spray, wound cleaner, steel drops and deep heat ointment with me in my moon bag; I just carry the Gotha Spray with me. It makes it easier to handle emergencies and it’s much easier to travel as well. Grass burns have been healing faster with no secondary infections. In general most of our players had very little time off from playing as they responded well to treatment.
In my practice I use the spray and gel while using ultrasound therapy (iontophoresis) and during and after deep tissue massage. Due to the homeopathic nature I have found it easy to convince my own family to use it as well as my friends.
At the start of the Currie Cup season preparation, players have already approached me to provide more spray and ointment as it helped during the Vodacom cup.
I have worked in the USA and the United Arab Emirates rehabilitating injuries and am clearly convinced that this is a product that is very effective in treating sports injuries.
